Managed Services for the retail industry, I managed the F&F projects for stores nationwide. This was to supply candidates to stores for after hours, while managing them and any issues. This was a temporary vacancy.

Managing switchboard, routing all incoming calls correctly, ensuring all e-mails for reception and facilities are actioned accordingly and greeting all visitors, ensuring they are united with their host. Maintaining all meeting room bookings and adding hospitality where needed.

I ran the Reservations and Meeting and Events department, reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the Cluster Revenue Manager.

I managed a team of two Reservationists, as there wasn't a Reservations Manager, I undertook this role as well and reported directly to the Revenue Manager.

This was a hair and beauty salon, which I ran with one other Manageress, for the owners. All hair and beauty appointments were done by us, as well as payments, stock takes, cashing up, supervising promotors and managing a team of 20 staff.

I started up a 6 bedroom Guest House for the owner, decorating and ensuring we received a 3 Star rating with AA. I then ran the Guest House, with a staff level of 3 reporting directly to me.

This position was for the Eastern Cape Tourism Board and involved organising functions to introduce new establishments in the industry to one another. Ensuring enough brochures were available to tourists for the Eastern Cape, Garden Route and parts of South Africa. This was a temp position.

I ran the Guest House from 12:00 till all guests were checked in for the evening. There were 7 staff members reporting to me directly and this was during my studies to obtain my hours.

I ran the 8 bedroom lodge with another lodge manager and was completely in charge for the 2 weeks every 6 weeks, when the other manager was off. This position was for a 6 month placement, to obtain my hours.
