As Operations Manager at beut LTD an online shop for interiors, I was responsible for the daily processing of customer orders using our in-house systems such as Dear and Magento. Liaising with suppliers on a daily bases to make sure our lead times were met and customers received items in a timely manner. I also would inform customers of any delays or stock issues that may occur. I learnt copious skills in logistics, making sure international shipments were dealt with and all the necessary information was given. As well as dealing with pallet and white glove shipments where appropriate. I helped with customer service, answering customer queries via phone calls and emails. I also dealt with invoices and statements giving me basic accounting skills. I worked with a team of people and independently as a small business team work was really important.
