As a staff member of the museum of illusions, my duty was to make an exciting and engaging experience for our guests as they walked through the exhibits. Not only was I required to know how each illusion worked, but I was also required to know the history of said illusions. A lot of the exhibits we featured required the use of a camera to get them to work, so my photography and directing skills also improved because of this job. This job also required a lot of communication skills, as we were inclined to engage in small talk with our guests. Of course, there were times when the guests preferred to walk the museum without assistance, so I needed to know ques on who to engage with, and who to keep my distance with.

I work as a freelance artist making custom art for my clients. I've worked with various steamers and content creators making anything from small emotes to character designs for set prices. My product turn outs range from a couple days to a couple weeks based on the type of commission, how many projects I have going on at once.

While working at this remote job, I was tasked to grade papers for a variety of different topics, subjects, and grade levels. We were pretested for each project to confirm our eligibility for the assignment. I was one of the top scorers with a 90% accuracy rating and scoring speed of roughly 210 papers a day (compared to a 150 average).

While working for this job, I was basically my own business. It was commission based, therefore I had to have the self-discipline to make my own routine and work schedule. I did not finish after 8 hours, I’d finish when the job was done, often resulting in 10-hour days. I would do business to business walk-ins, all cold calls, and must sit down and get someone protected in under 40 minutes to be effective at my job. I had to have sharp thinking skills and good communication skills to fit into any environment. Ex: A body shop will have a different atmosphere than a professional law firm.

As a process Assistant at Amazon, I’d often work 11 to 12-hour workdays and often was solely in charge of a group of ~100 people per shift (There were multiple “shifts” per day and a production assistant would basically oversee 2 of those shifts per day). I’d help with technical difficulties, resolving worker disputes, and keep track of worker productivity. If someone was falling behind, it was my duty to approach them directly to figure out what’s going on.

I started this work as a standard student worker and was later promoted to manager my second year. As a manager, it was my duty to oversee student productivity and assign roles to my crew for the day. If one station needed more hands, I would come in as backup. I performed quality checks during closing time to ensure all equipment was powered off safely and all food was locked and put away. During the day, the kitchen would be a fast-paced environment to keep up with student orders. I was also involved in leadership meetings and voiced opinions on what needed to get done as well as what rules should be implemented to have a more efficient workflow.
