Ensuring targets and like for like figures and all KPIs are met consistently to maximise profit for the company Running the sales floor and managing a team of sales assistants and junior managementProviding an exceptional standard of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and brand loyalty Opening and closing procedures including all banking and money handling Delegating tasks and prioritising jobs to ensure the business runs smooth every dayRecruiting and training new starters in all aspects of the business and continually training and developing other team members including management Visual Merchandising to company specific standard and ensuring top sellers are prioritised and commercial when need beImplementing floor moves and constructing new window schemes in accordance to company specific guidelines Ensuring all administrative and operational duties are carried out correctly and to company standard such as payroll and time sheets, rotas and deployment, invoicing and delivery.Executing regular stock takes to minimise stock loss Liaising weekly with the buyer to ensure the product is correct for the market and in line with current trends Executing weekly commercial and trade reports to feed back to head office by analysing current trends and giving feedback on competitors and trading conditions

I initially started at Vero Moda as a supervisor after graduating University and wanting to pursue a career in retail management. I quickly progressed to the role of Deputy Manager after the company re-structured and was no longer run as a multi brand along with Jack Jones. I eventually stepped up to store manager and ran the store as though it was my own business and was encouraged to do so.
