As the Director of Product Design for EdisonLearning, I support the research and development of all product enhancements to eCourses, 6th through 12th grade online curriculum, and eSchoolware, EdisonLearning's proprietary learning management system. I oversee all strategic planning involving curriculum development and reviews for all grade levels and subject areas. I supervise a team of content developers including subject area experts, media experts, and online developers and ensure proper project management. Outside of my team, I provide teacher, advisor, administrator, and parent training on eSchoolware both virtually and in person. I also support EdisonLearning by presenting at a variety of conferences across the country on our virtual instruction model, blended learning opportunities, and project-based learning development. Lastly, I am responsible for tracking data on curriculum performance with each partner to ensure growth.

The Pittsburgh Central Services office of EdisonLearning develops and delivers middle school and high school curriculum, maintains our proprietary learning management system, eSchoolware, and provides teaching and advisement services to public and charter schools across the country. In this position, I coordinate and oversee all product enhancement and development with internal staff and outside vendor support. Product development includes both eSchoolware and our course delivery systems, CoursePlayer and MyDay. I also design, develop, write, and provide professional development, on-boarding, training, implementation, and ongoing support to our Pittsburgh Central Services faculty, Provost Academy staff, and schools that contract for EdisonLearning's eCourse products to ensure customer satisfaction and high quality product implementation. Our teachers in Central Services mostly provide instruction to asynchronous or blended learning students, so my professional development focuses on effective feedback, student engagement in an asynchronous environment, and digital citizenship as these topics align to the Danielson Framework for Teaching.

In this position, I am responsible for all Central Service math teachers and tutors. I manage course and content project assignments, development and implement professional development sessions, and over-see the certification process for each state that we service. I also participate in content delivery system development and improvement. As an online teacher, I provide asynchronous and synchronous instruction for 6th - 12th grade mathematics for students in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Georgia, South Carolina, and Colorado. I use both our proprietary software and programs such as Edmodo and Blackboard Collaborate to provide quality instruction and effective feedback to my students. I write and review mathematics curriculum focused on the Common Core Standards and Blended Learning. I utilize data collected on our students, teachers, and curriculum to make decisions about educational interventions, course assignments, and the development of supplemental materials.

I helped to align curriculum to various state and national mathematics standards. I developed curriculum guides for the new common core standards. I reviewed and development math assessments.

I teach students from ages 5 - 10 tap and musical theatre. I apply my education background to a performance academy setting. I also substitute teach for tap, jazz, ballet, and musical theatre classes for students ages 5 - 18. I also assist by helping out with and choreographing for CLO events such as fundraisers.

I assisted students at PA Cyber's North Side satellite campus by providing tutoring and technical support. I helped to provide students with supplementary materials. I helped to communicate with students' instructional supervisors and families about grades, homework, tests, and other concerns.
