CurrentUS Direct Hires: Provide check-in and check-out services for American personnel and ensure timely and accurate information is disseminated to employees via in person briefings, the consulate SharePoint site, e-mail, management notices, and other means. Duties include collecting check-in and check-out documents, maintaining Post Personnel and Arrival/Departure databases for incoming and outgoing employees and family members, managing local eOPFs, and updating and sending TM channel cables and Language Incentive Pay cables. Additionally expected to conduct ad hoc queries in WebPASS for various data calls and reports and coordinate MOH and Cohabitation approval requests.Performance Evaluations: Manage all employee evaluation reports (EERs) at Post; including limited non-career appointees (LNAs) and eligible family members (EFMs). Duties including maintaining and setting up review panels and distributing EERs for review as well as ensuring completeness and correctness of all performance evaluations. Eligible Family Member Employment Portfolio – Oversee the recruitment and filling of the Consulate's EFM employment positions. Duties include drafting vacancy announcements, updating position descriptions, posting vacancies, screening applications, setting up interviews, and representing HR during interviews. Awards Portfolio – Coordinate major logistical planning and implementation of the Mission China awards program at Consulate General Shanghai. Duties include collecting award nominations and performing technical reviews to ensure compliance with awards program policy as well as planning and executing all logistical and operational aspects of the annual Consulate awards ceremony.
