I have a variety of duties and responsibilities in this role as a full member of the sales team including offering advice and customer service, regular independent running of the cash desk and partaking in processing deliveries of stock from the stock room through to helping with placing new and existing stock. Teamwork is also an essential part of this role.

CMC Designs is a Womens wear Brand started in 2015 creating hand made clothing and accessories.It has a growing presence online as well as being previously being stocked by two local businesses, Dainty Lou Boutique and Vintageous Rags in Middlesbrough. In this role I was responsible for managing the changing rooms, organising and replenishing stock and the daily running of the cash desk. Meeting targets was an important aspect of the role including: obtaining customer feedback, promoting store card accounts and gaining customer contact details for competitions and e-mail advertising which all strengthened my confidence in this field. I believe I gained many valuable skills within this role, which have proved to be transferable throughout my recent employment.

I previously worked on a self employed basis as a Seamstress, in this position I altered, reworked and made garments for a local store as well as for my own customer base. In this position I was able to further my sewing and design skills using my creativity in every aspect of any project brief I was given.

I held a short-term intern role for Dainty Lou Boutique. In this role I gained knowledge of running a fashion business, it was my responsibility to provide excellent customer service. Other duties included making up jewellery, attending networking events, as well as writing blog posts and helping to create displays in the store.

I previously worked as a sales advisor at hobby craft in Teesside Retail Park. In this role it was my responsibility to learn and to specialise in various creative crafts to enable me to advise customers in different subject areas. The role also required me to carry out a range of craft demonstrations and make items to be displayed in store. This shows I am keen to learn and take on responsibilities. Other general duties within this role included offering help and advice to customers, cash exchange during regular independent running of the cash register and replenishing and re organising of stock through following planograms, these duties gave me excellent customer service and organizational skills.
