I lead a team of designers and writers in creating a consistent, optimized brand experience at every touchpoint, from first impression to renewal. We created materials to support the goals of every department with strategic messaging, graphic design, copywriting, website UX and UI, video production, high value content, blog articles, and more.

Starting as a team of one, I built Canopy's brand strategy and wrote/designed/built everything from the company's first website to videos to collateral and everything in between. I quickly hired a team of talented creatives and started expanding the brand's reach into every touchpoint. I offered direction, feedback, and mentorship as the team grew rapidly.

At Basecamp, I developed new brand identities and campaigns to support two national retail franchises, and directed UI/UX for the software components of the business. I managed a team of designers, directed photo and video shoots, streamlined franchise communication by creating new processes and materials that were simple and easy-to-digest, presented ideas to 300+ store owners to get buy-in across the franchise, and executed campaigns that contributed to approximately 10% growth year over year, a new record for the franchises.

I lived the quintessential advertiser's life during my time at GSD&M... lots of late nights, big ideas, and Dr. Pepper. I was part of the New Business teams that won GSD&M the Walgreens account and the HomeAway account. I concepted and art directed campaigns for brands including Southwest, Popeye's, Pacifico, Caesar's Palace, and Lennox.

Despite the hiring freeze at Ogilvy in 2009, I managed to get one of very few invites to stay on after my internship. For the next 2 years I learned from the best creative directors in the industry, working as an Art Director on multi-million dollar print and TV campaigns.
