• Managed the relationship between Tesla's residential interconnection teams and 30 utility providers in the Maryland, Delaware, D.C., Virginia and West Virginia. Largest utilities included Baltimore Gas & Electric (BGE), Pepco, Delmarva and Dominion (VA). Managed 10+ utility relationships in California, including Pacific Gas & Electric, for 3-month transitional period. • Educated utility grid engineers on new Tesla Energy products, including the Solar Roof and Powerwall storage system. Worked with utilities to create standard interconnection processes for new distributed energy technology. Responsible for process control across 8,000+ active residential solar and energy storage projects.• Researched new utility markets and state incentive programs. Created business cases for Tesla to enter new programs and launched Tesla's participation • Managed processes for Mid-Atlantic rebate programs, including SREC Auction programs, state upfront rebate programs, and tax credit programs. • Created and maintained 150+ internal interconnection and incentives process SOPs via Atlassian Confluence, used daily by regional administrative teams.• Developed trainings and hosted 40+ training sessions to teach new interconnection/incentives processes or train team members. Held bi-weekly team huddles to discuss ongoing regional developments.• Analyzed and presented weekly and monthly reporting on application timelines, rejection rates and forecasts. Developed performance metrics to drive process efficiencies.• Identified and voiced common interconnection issues and collaborated with utility partners to develop solutions. Examples: testing online portals, implementing e-signatures and online payments, and consolidating process steps.• Communicated state tariffs and utility requirements to internal parties including policy, grid engineering, design, sales, and operations teams to ensure requirements are integrated into Tesla's processes and databases.
