Diavik Diamond Mine

• Mine and construction surveying to build a new open pit diamond mine and maintain the tailings and waste rock pile structures.
• Created pipeline alignment for dewatering of the A21 dike, and monitored water outtake
• Surveyed and staked out multiple large scale earthworks projects such as the A21 dike and the processed kimberlite containment dam
• Interpreted engineering drawings and translated them to the field while effectively communicating the plans to the construction team on site
• Collected and organized survey data to later process using Civil 3D or Maptek Vulcan
• Used multiple methods of surveying to obtain appropriate data accuracy
