Fifth and final clinical rotation at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, GA. This rotation in 10-weeks in length at an acute care facility. I am leading evaluations, treatments, and communicating with the medical team regarding patients within the therapy caseload. My CI is the lead therapist in this setting, allowing exposure to daily rounding meetings, increased communication with healthcare staff, task delegation, and other leadership duties. Most commonly, patients seen are geriatric with general cardiopulmonary sickness, generalized aging and weakness, orthopedic surgeries, strokes and some trauma. I am refining my skills as a soon to be physical therapist within this rotation.

Fourth Clinical Rotation at an outpatient Neurological clinic in Athens, Georgia. This experience was a 10-week rotation where I evaluated and treated patients with new, recurring and residual neurological and balance impairments. Mostly geriatric type patients with a few middle age and pediatric ages. Mostly focused on balance impairments, generalized strengthening, functional strength, gait training, vestibular rehab and amputee rehabilitation.

Third Clinical rotation at an inpatient acute rehabilitation department at The Medical Center in Macon, Georgia. This experience was 8-weeks in length where I had the opportunity to treat a multitude of patients. I observed, evaluated and treated patients in almost every unit of the hospital, including the orthopedic floor, the post operative orthopedic floor, the surgical trauma floor, the stroke unit, the general population floors, the NICU, the pediatric floor, the cardiovascular ICU, general ICU and the neurological ICU.

Second Clinical Rotation in general outpatient clinic. Performed assessments and provided treatment to mostly geriatric population with occasional pediatrics. Mostly orthopedic conditions treated such as spinal stenosis, total joint arthroplasty, spinal stabilization procedures, and muscular instability. Introduced to some neurological and integument conditions as well.

First clinical rotation, pediatric setting. One day a month internship focusing on documentation and goal writing. Exposure to developmental delay along with other pediatric conditions, especially Cerebral Palsy.

Coaching 11-12 year old softball players through a week of instructional events, camp type games and competitive softball games.

Assisted employer with making sports awards, including but not limited to individual and team trophies, sports rings, sports plaques, sports belts.
