RVA Fashion Week is a yearly city fashion show. The week is committed to collaborating with local businesses and designers which showcases Richmond’s finest amongst its creativity, style, arts and street culture by the virtue of fashion. I have been granted the opportunity to work with Morong Koy as her Executive Assistant. She is the Executive Director of Corporate Sales and Marketing. I completed a wide variety of tasks during this internship including:-Participating amongst different events promoting and marketing RVA Fashion Week -Researching and finding local businesses to accompany our event-Finding and meeting with companies to present opportunities of sponsorship -Assisting with photo shoots -Attending all corporate meetings and offering my opinions on key decisions -Making professional sales calls and emails-Contacting and following up with people via email, phone and personal interviews-Helping backstage and with sales during the live week of fashion shows from April 27 - May 4-Daily updating of all social media content/Blogging of my own
