Chief, Cyberspace And Information OperationsUs Army Aug 2012 - Jul 2016Arlington, Virginia, Us• Led a team of 20 military, civilian, and contractor personnel in developing the Army’s strategy, policy and resources to man, train and equip the cyberspace and information operations global enterprises. • Oversaw, prioritized, and managed risk of the cyberspace and information operations annual budget portfolio of nearly $400 million dollars while growing the portfolio over four years.• Transformed the Army’s Cyberspace Enterprise by co-authoring the Army Cyberspace Strategy for Unified Land Operations 2025, positioning the Army to fight and win in cyberspace by building capacity along five lines of effort: Build the cyber workforce, operations, capability development, facilities, and partnerships.• Partnered with Army Cyber Command in developing the Army’s plan to create a 2000-person strong Cyber Mission Force capable of operating, securing, and defending Army networks and defeating the nation’s adversaries in cyberspace. This resulted in the Army being the only service on track to meet all initial operating goals. • Collaborated with multiple Department of Defense partners to detail Army roles and responsibilities to serve as the Cyber Training Range Executive Agent. This led to the Army becoming the Persistent Cyber Training Environment acquisition authority. • Initiated the World Class Cyber Opposition Force mission and force structure ensuring the Army could be a leader in training cyber mission forces and integrating cyber training into land force training. • Coordinated and managed the Army’s plan to identify, prioritize, and remediate weapon systems and communication platform cyber vulnerabilities that Congress subsequently supported with funding. -
