Owning this business helped enhance skills such as multitasking, forecasting, business strategy and overall business management. I left the business in 2012 to return to the corporate world, hiring a manager to run it in my absence. I sold the business for a profit in 2015.

I worked closely with the company’s outside sales representatives, the engineering and quality department and management to provide optimum service to the customers. I also assumed the responsibility of the shipping department, all aspects of scheduling and management of the Fabrication Department. I feel this gave me a very well-rounded view of the business.
