Hey! I'm Carmela - a twenty-something year old marketer with a passion for creative projects, creative people, and dancing 👋💫Here's my multifaceted career journey so far:💡 Whilst studying Fine Art at University in 2020, I wanted to create opportunities for artists during a time of global disconnect. So, I teamed up with my friends to form arts organisation Round Lemon where we hosted digital exhibitions, an online blog, and artist talks on zoom. 🍋 Since 2021 we have taken on exciting projects and have worked with with the likes of Arts Council Collection, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Grand Union, Bruntwood, The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, SHOUT Festival, Fierce Festival and No Jobs In The Arts. 👩🎨 Our Gender Gap project which encompasses workshops, a gallery tour, and zine resource hosted at the Barber Institute is actively reshaping the way gender inequalities within gallery spaces are perceived. This endeavor stands as my most cherished and deeply impassioned project to date.👩🏽💻 My career in marketing began in 2022 where I joined as a marketing coordinator for creative opportunities platform Zealous. I create content across social media channels, analyse data and insights, send out the monthly newsletter and contribute to the blog.💃🏻 I have been a qualified IDTA Freestyle Dance Teacher since 2018 and I love to teach at my local dance school on weekends. I'm currently studying for my Fellowship exam in the hopes to become a future adjudicator. So, you might describe me as having my fingers in a few pies 🥧 but I believe that no career journey is linear and enthusiasm and open-mindedness is the best approach to reach new heights 📈💌 Want to get in touch?🍋 carmela@roundlemon.co.uk 💫 Instagram: @carmelavienna
