I provide individual, couples and family therapy for clients ages 12 to 65+. I specialize in PTSD, complex trauma, depression, anxiety, co-occurring disorders, personality disorders, life coaching, family issues and relationship issues. I utilize EMDR, trauma-focused, holistic, integrative, experiential, humanistic, and whole person approaches. (On several insurance panels). I am focused on my private practice and in helping my clients. My varied background with nonprofits, courts, probation, Department of Mental Health, in various roles, has allowed me to provide a more holistic and whole-person approach to clients, families, and couples in my private practice.

I was the clinical director of two outpatient mental health clinics, five domestic violence shelter programs and one emergency youth shelter. As clinical director, I provided supervision of all staff, including hiring and training, managed programmatic strategies and compliance, ensured that DMH contractual terms were met (including CalWorks), prepared for audits and walk throughs and ensured a successful outcome, ensured effective and quality delivery of services, increased referral base, provided direct client services, collaborated with other agencies, courts, law enforcement, child protective services, and other organizations, provided clinical supervision, conducted monthly meetings with department heads and individual supervision meetings with shelter managers, enforced agency policy and procedures, monitored and enforced safety protocol. Represented the agency at DMH service area provider meetings, SART roundtable, mayor's DV council meetings, Calworks, other nonprofits, other NGOs, and CSEC research and presentations.

Provided clinical supervision of therapeutic behavioral staff, provided training, enlarged referral base, conducted assessments, provided support through collaboration and attendance at client and family meetings.

Provided weekly clinical supervision (individual and group) and trainings at training site to 24 interns (MFTs, MSWs and PsyD interns).

Provided oversight and administration of domestic violence program; ensured contractual terms were fulfilled; recruited, hired, and trained staff; provided direct client service and supervision of staff.

Provided therapy sexual abuse and domestic violence survivors.
