As a creative and truth seeker it is my goal to utilize my platform and experience to uplift and encourage women of color to activate all aspects of their personal well-being above all else. While pursuing my master’s degree at Northwestern University, I launched the Coffee, Tea & Mella B Podcast. Along with other special guest hosts and professionals, in this podcast, I explore and inform listeners about the eight dimensions of well-being. to uplift women of color and provide space for us to live wholly into our authentic selves.I have a nearly decade-long career in aviation and a parallel passion for the arts and entertainment industries. While both industries have taken tremendous flight in creating and cultivating environments that welcome the indifferences that make us all human, I find that the mental, emotional, and physical exhaustion faced by BIPOC individuals, specifically Black women, are nearly one and the same in both industries. These are just two of the many spaces that Black women occupy, and I believe that Black women deserve to live well and freely as their authentic selves. Our authentic selves are deserving of support, admiration, and of protection no matter the circumstance.
