• Three separate business entities, 1800 employees; report to the Managing Director and to the VP of the Division Headquarters in Boston. On the Management Committee, and counsel to the Supervisory Body. Managed.
• Led the negotiations and drafted the contract for the supply of an anti-pandemic vaccine with the Ministry of Health, which generated record sales for two consecutive years;
• Provided legal assistance to the Vaccine and Diagnostics business units for the company’s participation in public calls for tenders resulting in significant earnings.- Compliance
• Managed compliance with Italian legal requirements and the company’s compliance policies, as well as with Privacy Law; the Compliance Department earned the distinction of “best practice” at divisional level.- Governance
• Oversaw the execution of a series of M&A transactions (mergers, joint ventures, transfer of going concerns), meeting all deadlines.

I was the Head of Legal for the Italian operations of the OTC and Medical Nutrition B.U.s. With one direct report, I took care of all the legal and compliance issues for both B.U.s, with a focus on pharmaceutical law, contract and corporate law as well as on compliance.

My activity mainly focused on the advice rendered to multinational companies in corporate and international tax law. In particular, I rendered my advice in corporate law, taking care of both the day-by-day activity and extraordinary transactions as mergers and de-mergers. I also reached a good level of expertise in the international aspects of business tax.
