I’m an Analyst under Fulfillment & Provisioning for Ericsson Regional North America (RNAM) which is an organization that supports Sprint’s services and performs functionality in the areas of Access, Customer Delivery, and Network Services Delivery. Originally this role required business acumen for process, systems enhancement, and reporting analysis but during the time I joined the team Ericsson was going through their largest internal network migration with Sprint and needed someone to manage a piece of the project. The project was a pioneering effort which met up with many challenges requiring heavy focus and this soon became my sole responsibility until the project was finalized in early 2012. The role included IT collaboration for managing application test case scenarios on an already breached timeline to ensure nothing would jeopardize the timeline further. The final phase required facilitation of 250 Sprint owned asset returns and Ericsson owned asset onboarding. The asset onboarding then required hands on assistance so I conducted training to ensure proper asset and application placement, as well as product knowledge. This initiative migrated all Ericsson employees within our entire organization (approx 250 employees within three US states) to an Ericsson IT infrastructure, network, applications, and from our customer, Sprint's, IT infrastructure enabling us to serve multiple customers in the future. Currently my role is allowing me to learn a different aspect of the business through a team developed to promote automation initiative synergies for all of Fulfillment & Provisioning. This teams goal is to create a functional suite of systems that drives efficiencies across all delivery lanes to serve multiple customers. Since the team was established in Dec '12 our organization has added approx. 20 automations to the current process adding $3M in savings with a $420K automatic billing discrepancy removed, found through reporting automation.
