In 1990 I became a small business co-founder and owner of CMI MicroClimates. CMI is located in central Florida. Since 1990 the CMI team has been dedicated to the preservation of books and objects of history. CMI MicroClimates makes custom archival boxes for libraries, museums, and other institutions. In my early years before CMI I worked at Gould Avionics and then Fairchild Industries as an Associate Engineer. My personal interests include community service such as serving twice as President of the Hammondsport Rotary club in New York and as a Paul Harris Fellow. I served on the board of directors for Mid Atlantic Soaring Association for several years. I volunteer as a grant writer for libraries, museums, historical societies, religious organizations, civic clubs and other non profits with emphasis on preservation of books, manuscripts, ledgers. My recreational interests include water sports, cycling, yoga, and aviation. I am a holder of a private pilot's licence for single engine aircraft and gliders.
