I am a mother of a Type 1 Diabetic who is immersed in helping those living with diabetes obtain the best technological device on the market that aids in optimal glucose control. I find joy in hearing success stories from patients and caregivers, and helping them stay up to date with the latest and greatest. My goal is to remove barriers to patients getting new devices, help them thoroughly understand their options, and improve processes within our department to maximize positive customer experience. Former United States History teacher. Traveled throughout the East Coast as a member of Our America: Teaching American History to learn first-hand knowledge about historical figures, battles, events, authors, and landmarks that took place in early America. Published papers along with lesson plans to provide meaningful, child centered lessons in American History. Co-wrote Social Studies curriculum with a group of high-performing teachers at Laredo ISD.
