Human Resources InternAcss May 2018 - Jan 2019Phoenix, Az, UsAt ACSS, I was given the opportunity to look into the FAA's policies regarding the Drug Testing and Hiring Process. I researched and analyzed the process that ACSS had implemented into their company's policy in order to compare it to the FAA's policies. My research concluded that there was a process that could be implemented that could save the HR Department about 10+ hours of work each week. Another project included ensuring our attendance at multiple career fairs at universities across the country. Concluding this project, I was able to dip my feet into the pool of Talent Acquisition by attending a career fair to encourage and recruit college students to intern and work at ACSS. My other tasks included using Outlook and Taleo to schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers, creating an Excel sheet that outlined the Leave of Absence Process, and creating a timesheet for a 9/80 work week, in CRM, to save paper and employees' time. -
