In addition to my previous technical writing duties, I am now responsible for managing a "team" consisting of myself and another writer. Duties include managing project deadlines and processes, and communicating with the technical community.

"Lone writer" in charge of developing and maintaining user documentation for all Appareo and Intelligent Agricultural products. Responsibilities range from installation manuals, electronic user guides, online help, support documentation, and invention disclosures.

- Hired and managed a staff of 25- Gave approval to final layout and sent to printer- Suggested story ideas and special inserts- Served as a liaison between Spectrum staff and Board of Student Publications (BOSP)* Received 2nd place for Four-year Nondaily Newspaper at 2009 Associated Collegiate Press Best of the Midwest conference

- Observed and photographed disassembly (prior to remanufacturing) and reassembly of large machinery, including drivetrains and transmissions, on the manufacturing floor- Wrote Standard Written Instructions to meet ISO requirements and to serve as a training tool for new employees and for current employees to review - Communicated with manufacturing floor managers to ensure accuracy of SWIs- Editing of some miscellaneous documents

- Wrote and edited question/answer solutions for a self-help, HTML-based technology website for NDSU students- Developed a style guide that was followed by both NDSU and UND information technology departments- Developed ad campaign to generate interest in student employment at ITS- Communicated with ITS Communication Coordinator to ensure consistent style and format
