Carmen is a Certified Trainer, recognized by the HRDF under Malaysian Ministry of Human Resource. Her specialty is in public speaking, communication & leadership and personal branding for career advancement. She has spoken and conducted numerous workshops and trainings for various organizations including Toastmasters International events, many other organizations and social groups. Her training and coaching program focus on helping individuals to monetize their communication skills at work and personal life, both virtually & physically. Her signature program – Effective Communication Series has helped numerous clients to master basic communication skill at work by gaining self confidence to engage more during events at work.Apart from work engagement, she also involves in leadership positions for a not-for-profit lifelong learning organization, Toastmasters International. A self-directed, highly structured and result-driven person, she has the ability to bring growth through the creation and execution of successful sales and marketing strategies.In 2021, as the District Director, despite the 12-month virtual leadership, she led more than 3000 members in Peninsula Malaysia, bringing 1.5% net growth of membership to the organization. She received the “Excellence of Leadership” award in which she brought the District to World Top 11th with this result, one the highest awards in Toastmasters International for it represents not only good leadership but sustainable leadership qualities.In 2020, she received the “Excellence in Program Quality” award, which she had successfully accelerated the achievement of education and training of members by 61% (which is 20% above the required measurement).In 2019, she was awarded “Excellence in Club Growth” which she had successfully recruited an additional 3.2% new members within one year when she held office as Marketing Director. She led the overall marketing strategy in developing both outreach and retention programs for existing clients and new market penetration.Carmen’s passion in personal development has made her spending 15 out her 18 years in Toastmasters in sales & marketing this program to nearly 100 corporations, supporting the personal growth of more people.
