I am a Non-traditional, 1st generation transfer student that recently graduated as a Strategic and Corporate Communication and minoring in Leadership at Chapman University. Volunteer work is my happy place, especially when making a difference to bring awareness to many problems in our communities as well as helping students have access to resources that will help them continue to higher education. After Chapman University, I would love to be part of a team that helps students and educate the community about accessibility and resources that are at their feet. Marginalized communities are sometimes unaware of what's available, and I would love to be that person that reaches out. Community events, going to schools and doing outreach, or having a set program with resources at a college are critical to what I want to work for as I seek my dream job. This type of work is essential for the future of education, especially in low-income communities like the one my daughter is growing up in.My communication skills, leadership experience, curiosity, and passion for learning drive my eagerness to be a hardworking team player and, when needed, a leader. There is no room for growth and evolution without interest and curiosity, so I try to learn something new daily to improve myself and expand my knowledge. Let's network and connect.
