Hi there!Yes, I am a fulltime finance major, but don't worry I'm not here to rant about my favorite crypto. To be honest, before I found a love for finance I kind of assumed I'd wind up in engineering. I'm currently attending Concordia University's John Molson school of business, and working towards a bachelors of commerce with a minor in marketing. I was previously employed at Wannlynx where I handled social media, financial statements, and did a lot of spreadsheets. Some have even called me the queen of Microsoft Excel.It was the Job I had in high school that inspired me to go into business. I used to work at this cute Thai restaurant in a strip mall, we were almost always understaffed. The shifts were long, but the fast paced environment demanded you to be fast and consistent. In order to stay alert, quick and motivated I made up a game in my head. I'd think of everything they could improve on in their business model, they could better their marketing strategies, cut costs, and save funds. I learned a lot of good skills working that job; creative problem solving, consistency, resilience, but the best thing I took away from it was a love for business.Always looking for work experience or a reason to use Excel, feel free to contact me if you know of any!
