Reporting to the CMO, I led the global communications function for the leader in network security policy management, FireMon. In this role, I managed FireMon's public relations, analyst relations and social media programs and achieved and maintained number one Share of Voice while showcasing value for FireMon's award-winning platform in this highly-competitive market. During my tenure at FireMon, the firehose was always on, which I relished. As an industry leader (and creator of the NSPM category) FireMon lost some steam in its awareness, and I enjoyed the challenge of reintroducing its leaders and technology to the media and analysts. Under my stewardship, within one year, FireMon was featured in 225 earned placements around the globe and #1 in competitive SoV. Analyst relations also saw an uptick that led to key prospect references, media references, and, for the first time, inclusion in three different industry reports.FireMon is an Insight Partners company.

I played an expanded role in driving media relations, creative pitching and thought leadership initiatives. Working with clients across the technology and telecom sectors, the challenge is to tell relevant, timely and engaging narratives outside of the news cycle. Leveraging social media platforms for influencer engagement and top-notch execution of traditional PR tools, to-date the team has secured more than 100 stories under my leadership since the formation of media relations as a separate business unit. Narratives showcased a differentiated point-of-view, domain expertise, and executive visibility in trade, business and technology journals.
