• Responsible for identifying, evaluating and employing candidates for management and other professional positions within the disciplines of Disney Consumer Products Toy Division • Generates qualified candidate pools through cost-effective efforts - Internet, alternative sourcing, etc. • Develop the search strategy, including creating a target list of competitor companies, indentifying names of passive candidates and anticipated time frame of the search • Adheres to recruitment ATS policies and processes by utilizing system for sourcing and tracking of candidates and activity • When necessary, retains and manages additional recruiting support, such as researchers and search firms. • Meets established hiring targets, manage client relationships, and interact with hiring managers to discuss specific requirements • Participate in special projects/task forces as assigned • Represents company for recruiting purposes at identified networking and industry events, job fairs, conferences, etc.

• Lead the talent acquisition efforts in the Los Angeles area for Spin Master Inc a Canadian based company• Maintaining open communication with hiring managers in regards to search process and candidate pipeline• Manage the candidate flow process from sourcing through onboarding and successful deployment into business role.• Proactively build and manage pipeline of talent for future needs.• Maintain recruiting dashboard and reporting of metrics on all recruiting activities • Manage various projects as identified in Spin Master’s Human Resources Strategy• Work with Director of Talent Acquisition to ensure that college relations program, including co-ops and interns, is effective, efficient and in alignment with business needs; ensures interns are provided with development and also branding organization as best in class.

• Responsible for full cycle recruiting and retaining talented employees at all levels within the company, with specialization in the Supply Chain, Science/R&D, Marketing and Finance areas.• Negotiate and maintain vendor agreements with recruiting firms that are approved to fulfill outsourced staffing needs.• Build productive partnerships with hiring managers to ensure that needs and requirements are clearly defined for each open position; develop customized job descriptions.• Recruit, screen, interview, and hire as many as 25 candidates annually.• Developed and regularly implement orientation process for new employees to assist with the retention of those employees.

Full cycle recruiting for Marketing and Finance areas.

• Contracted with nutrition manufacturer to maintain staffing levels of approximately 250 employees.• Successfully filled more than 30 positions in first four months.• Created 25 different job descriptions for office positions (where there had previously been none) in preparation for recruiting.• Established standard recruitment process for the company and documented the process in a manual for use by subsequent recruiters.
