Yooralla is a NFP that believes in facilitating and championing the rights of people with disabilities to live the life they choose.This role involved project management end-to-end, including strategy development, board approval, implementation, delivery and through to a successful external audit. I was responsible for development and delivery of Yooralla's Life Skills: 'Speaking Up!' Program. As part of this project I delivered tailored training in protective behaviours, advocacy, facilitation and public speaking to adult students of various abilities. I also built and facilitated the attached community of practice, facilitator mentoring program and other empowerment activities. My goal was to provide programs that helped participants to recognise their talents and skills, building confidence and fulfilment of their potential. I worked closely with Yooralla's Quality, Innovation & Safeguards Team to build empowerment with clients and accountability in the service's workforce.

Manager and facilitator for several children's programs, staffed by a volunteer workforce. These were community outreach programs for children and young people living in the Carlton area. Programs provided recreation and breakfast! These were delivered in the public housing estate and neighbouring primary school.
