Carmen began her impressive international experience with studies at the Schiller International University in Heidelberg, Germany, Her aspiration for international activities and her love towards the area of education resulted in the co-founding of Callidus obrazovanje Ltd., where she took on the role of the Managing Director. Alongside managerial affairs, the most important aspect of her work includes the design and implementation of projects co-financed from the EU funds and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) in Croatia, Malta, Serbia, Moldova and Middle East countries. Initiating and cooperating numerous international projects enabled her to form a widespread network of acquaintances and business partners. After graduating in Germany, Carmen continued to foster her international aspirations within regional management as a head of trade marketing management for Electrolux brand in Central and Southeast European countries within the company Electrolux Ltd. in a period of seven years. Her engagement with the area of education began with the role of the educational teams' manager of - Berufsakademie Nordhessen. With its headquarters situated in Zagreb, the Berufsakademie Nordhessen functioned through the field of study of logistics and tourism in line with the principle of dual education.
