I am supporting edtech start-up founders in their scale-up phase. In this role I combine two of my passions, education and coaching. I am helping edtech start-up founders setting goals and keeping on track to achieve them over an acceleration period as part of the Dohe Go-Together acceleration programme.

Engaging with the Curriculum and Assessment Transformation project to continue to assist leadership, frameworks for curriculum and assessment design transformation. I collaborate with University colleagues in the write up of frameworks and research on curriculum and assessment design.

Managed a tech transfer programme with this Barcelona based Venture Builder. I played a key role supporting research teams from universities going through The Collider programme. The programme offers Opportunity and Business Validation stages and helps products that are in the lab reach market successfully. I have supported the onboarding and completion of the programme for sixteen projects across multiple areas in the opportunity and business validation stages.

My role had two main remits: institutional research and development. I worked on an extensive portfolio of institution-wide and School-based projects. The topics included: assessment and feedback practice; e-Assessment (e-submissions, e-tests, e-feedback, audio feedback); student satisfaction with assessment and feedback; course, module design and assessment reviews; best pedagogic practice; widening participation; academic quality assurance structures. Institutional research and evaluation In this capacity, my role consisted in: Keeping up to date with sector developments (policy, research) and writing literature reviews; designing evaluation instruments (interviews, observation schedules, questionnaires); collecting and analysing data (statistical, policy documents, interview data); report writing with recommendations and advice for development (policy, strategy, staff development and implementation strategies). Institutional development: project lead, consultations and disseminationThis element of my role involved influencing institutional practice in various ways: • Senior User in a technical development project to improve the institutional VLE supporting e-assessment• Project managed and led a project to transform institutional practice in relation to coursework submissions and feedback moving to electronic assessment. This involved managing: project timelines, tasks and resource, monitor progress and update senior management boards and communications. • Leading consultations in Schools on developments • Presenting to academic staff to disseminate good practice (quality committees, development days, staff conference, PGCHE sessions) • Writing working papers for senior management team committees• Resource creation and dissemination (e.g. events, workshops) for academic development purposes.

This national project evaluated the patterns of adoption of new technologies in teaching and learning in secondary schools in the UK. My duties included:• Carrying out educational research studies in schools including interviews with learners, teachers and senior managers• Collating, analysing and presenting digital data • Contributing to written publications and dissemination events • Managing the project and working in an interdisciplinary team• Development of project websites for internal and external use• Multiple regression analysis of attainment school data
