My Midwest work ethic coupled with the world-class training I received at Arthur Andersen laid a solid foundation. The audit experience working on clients like Equifax, The Southern Company and Pennzoil was a quick immersion into the ways of the corporate world. I rapidly learned how to build relationships.As a marketing project manager, my rational auditor side worked well when co-founding a consumer promotions agency and executing national marketing programs for The Coca-Cola Company. The project manager role called on my abilities to create and manage a budget, establish and stick to a timeline, juggle the demands of other stakeholders, prioritize, continually reevaluate and adjust as needed.As a business relocation project manager, I acted as the main point of contact for all parties involved, from landlord to architects to the IT team. I oversaw the office space build out, procured furniture, and managed the entire move with exhaustive attention to detail, so my clients didn’t have to take a minute away from day-to-day business.A business owner for 25+ years, I understand how to create job security – show up, follow through and the client is always right (generally*). *Sense of humor included.
