Carme is BA in Economics from the University of Barcelona and Montpellier University and an MBA from the School of Management and Senior Management at EADA. She has taken part in several courses, including "Serious Creativity" by ESADE, "Strategic Marketing in uncertain times" by IESE and "Crash Course on Creativity" by Stanford Universty (California).Her professional career began in 1996 as the import manager for Rodanto Import Export in London. Two years later, she joined La Farga Group in the sales department, as manager of a product line: copper pipes. In 2000, she was promoted to Marketing Manager of the metallurgy holding company and, after four years, she split from the sales area and formed the Corporate Development Area, which encompasses marketing, communications and corporate responsibility strategy. In this same year, the project started for the creation of the Copper Museum with the University of Vic. From 2008, the year when the Museum opened, she was appointed as the Manager of the Copper Museum and Fundació La Farga. It is in 2010 when she was also awarded the management of relations with universities and technology centres, providing support directly to the R&D+i department. In 2013, with the new organisational structure aimed at an international vision and the goal of generating knowledge and versatility among departments, Sáez was appointed as the Competitive Intelligence Manager, managing R&D+i, engineering projects, technology management, process and product improvement and, finally, strategic marketing.In 2016 she decides to carry out her personal project and create the thinquery consulting company with the aim of helping and accompanying companies in their development and growth process.
