My background, while extensive, is not traditional.I embrace challenges, offer diverse experience, and am an agile & avid learner.From my degrees and early career path, I have over 11+ years of personal, business and international tax experience under my belt. After having my first child, I was ready to tackle something new & different - something where I felt I was helping others & being of service. It was thus that I turned toward marketing & event planning. I have worked on helping businesses strategically place their products, create partnerships for mutual benefit, gain followers through use of social media campaigns, and aid non-profits that are near & dear to my heart. Most recently, I was led to work on creating messaging and branding for companies based on their values, purpose and culture. Reinforcing internal culture and building and maintaining strong relationships is where my passion lies.My various experiences have strengthened me & made me a better professional – one who can not only see details, but more importantly, the bigger picture.Apart from my professional life, I am a very active volunteer in my 3 children’s schools and an avid practitioner of yoga. I also travel when I can, especially to visit my family in Bolivia and Scotland.
