As Director of Operations, Carmille sits on the executive management/senior leadership team where she works to ensure the organization’s activities remain aligned with its vision, mission, and strategic plan. As Director of Operations, she oversees SEADC’s finances, Human Resources, and internal affairs.—For four decades, the Southeast Asian Development Center has helped transform and uplift thousands of youth and families with critical services. SEADC provides jobs, academic support, language services and cultural and social guidance.

A center at University of Southern California. *Responsible for communications, branding, developing new initiatives, and raising funds for the Council’s annual budget. *Executive lead for organizational development, project management, DEI, and professional development. In partnership with CEO and Executive Director, managed $5 mil budget; collaborated with co-leadership on COVID-era business contingency planning. *Oversaw “thought leadership” division of the organization which included four departments/functional areas, four senior-level direct reports, 11 skip-level staff, and the organization’s contractors and vendors. *As VP, acted as the Council's representative to partner organizations, funders, members, and other parties. Promoted positive relationships and strong partnerships. Acted as proxy for the CEO when needed.–The Pacific Council on International Policy promotes global engagement across Los Angeles and California. We believe that everyone has a role to play in global affairs. The Pacific Council builds the capacity of local citizens to become global affairs champions, harnesses the collective power of individuals, businesses, and institutions in our city, and exports LA’s talents to the world on issues where we add value.

Served as executive director of the Hawaii state chapter of Common Cause; oversaw the state chapter’s lobbying, fundraising, and outreach activities, and the engagement of its 4,000+ members. Managed a team of 30 campaign volunteers across Hawaii’s four main islands. Lobbied at the city, state, and federal levels on bills related to government procedures, voting and elections, campaign finance reform, net neutrality, and transparency in government. Active in media relations, and established relationships with regional and national publications. Active in stakeholder engagement, coalition-building, and community organizing.–Common Cause Hawaii aims to: strengthen public participation in government; curb the excess influence of money in politics; ensure that government serves the common good, rather than special interests; promote fair, honest, and transparent elections; and fight for a vigorous, independent, and diverse media. Since 1970, Common Cause Hawaii has been a leading “good government” voice advocating for improved process-related measures that affect our democracy. We believe that process-related issues and improvements are a universal issue that impacts our social and economic policies.
