• Achieve sales and margin targets for customers within direct control through effective business planning, commercial negotiation and the co-ordination of all available resources.

Woolworths HEAD Office - Cape Town

• Planning ( WOOLWORTHS)
• Optimise the continuous availability of products in the department to meet Customer demand
• Contribute to the Department Plan in line with a specific focus on planning objectives and requirements.
• Assist department team to prioritise objectives and resources to deliver operating plan, both from a product and people perspective.
• Integrate with team to set and achieve Operational KPI’s i.e (Sales, Availability and Financial accountable contribution to company)
• Influence and ensure sufficient budget for departmental operational expenses manage appropriately.

• Report on weekly Inflation
• Analyse and report on weekly shrinkage. Investigate and provide supportive commentary on high shrinks & gains.
• Scrutinise Margin report and analyse and report on Primary Buying Margins. Provide insight to bring the department’s pbm in line and investigate discrepancies.
• Reconcile the overall intake accounts. Reconcile margin to General Ledger.
• Analyse and report on monthly Waste, Shrinkage and Inflation and reconcile their accounts. Walker downloads, Crystal reports
• Prepare and collate monthly financial report packs.
