Extensive understanding of the Resolute Eagle UAV and its supporting Ground Control Station and supporting ground equipment comprising the Unmanned Air System (UAS). One of the original four team members to design, integrate, test and support the various stages of the Resolute Eagle UAS.• Implemented modifications for the first versions of Interface Boxes (power and I/O distribution) based upon various configurations of the UAS – and designed the modifications for the BLOS configuration• Main electrical lead on all Resolute Eagle BLOS flight tests• Wrote the first version of the Resolute Eagle Maintenance Manual• In charge of the Transponder Ground testing for Transponder certification• In charge of the technical side of Resolute Eagle Information Assurance• Electrical lead when testing new electronic components: (i.e. ground tracking antennas, radios, network switches, autopilot software, interface boxes, etc.)• Electrical lead for 2ndary Landing Site at WSMR during 50nm testing• Electrical lead for 90% of all flight tests with the Resolute Eagle (all configurations) since February 2016• Designed and oversaw the construction of DC wire harnesses for the Resolute Eagle UAS BLOS configuration• Designed and built RF coaxial cables for the Resolute Eagle UAS

As a Graduate Student:• Performed research on autonomous UAVs.• Wrote C code for communication, control, and navigation for custom made flight control systems (FCS). • Tested custom FCS algorithms in both hardware and software simulation• Performed flight tests after successful flight simulation.• Modified RC air-frames to incorporate sensors/electronics needed for autonomous flight.• Gained general lab skills such as crimping, soldering, surface mount soldering, cable/harness making, working with multimeters/oscilloscopes, etc.• Technical writing for publicans and thesis work.As a Teaching Assistant:• Taught undergraduate level courses: Digital Logic Design, C Programming, Circuits I and II, Computer Engineering Senior Design based around Xilinx FPGAs.• Prepared and proctored undergraduate examinations.• Lead discussion sections, tutorials, and laboratory sections.• Scheduled & maintained regular office hours (20 hours/week) to meet with students. • Graded homework, programming assignments, examinations, and projects. • Evaluated student work objectively and fairly.
