Began at Mid-Missouri Legal Services as a law clerk, representing clients in family law matters in 9 counties.Graduate from Michigan State University in May 2007 with Master's Degree in Journalism. Worked on Capital News Service, a student-run wire service covering state politics and events. Stories written published in several major newspapers in and around Michigan, including the Oakland Press, the South Bend Tribune and the Traverse City Record Eagle. Studied abroad in the summer of 2006 in the British Isles, Traveled throughout England, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland on the similarities and differences in journalism in Europe and the United States. In 2005, graduated from Central Michigan University with Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. Interned at The Washington Times in Washington D.C. through the Institute on Political Journalism, an immersion program run by The Fund for American Studies.
