  Since 1997, I’ve served in various capacities at Carney, Sandoe & Associates, a global faculty recruitment, leadership search, and strategic consulting firm for independent and like-kind schools. As the Director of External Relations and Strategic Partnerships I help create meaningful relationships with parallel organizations.In addition to my leadership role within the company, I help schools nation and worldwide conduct searches for top advancement, development and communications talent.In my professional capacity, I’ve chaired a resume critique and job search strategy panel at Teachers College – Columbia University and Harvard Graduate School of Education, spoken at the doctoral symposium at Stanford University on careers in independent education, served as a keynote speaker on strategies for conducting a job search in the K-12 educational market at Experience’s national conference, and presented on numerous other panels at top colleges, universities and professional development conferences (CASE, TABS, ADVIS, AISNE, etc.).I enthusiastically chair CS&A’s volunteer committee and served for 16 years as the Director of Advancement for the Gardner Carney Leadership Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to the research, study, and practice of teaching teachers to teach leadership, and was a perennial 3rd grade tutor at the Boston Renaissance Charter School and blood donor at Massachusetts General Hospital.
