I grew up in Bucaramanga, Colombia, and transferred to Bogota to finish my undergrad in Economics. After graduation, I joined a consulting company specializing in consumer product good companies, this is where I first became interested in helping corner store retailers solve inefficiencies . I then became the third employee to join a startup that aimed to revolutionize the corner store retailer experience through a mobile services platform. Here I spent the next eight years dedicated to growing a network of more than ten thousand corner stores that offered mobile financial services to the base of the pyramid, in my role as Commercial Vice President, where I also led the expansion of operations to more than eight cities in the country.Knowing I wanted to be a force of change in Latin America, I attended MIT Sloan School of Management as a Sloan Fellow to reinforce my tech entrepreneurship skills from a global perspective. Before graduating from MIT, I joined Chiper as Co-Founder and CRO. Since then we have expanded our operations in three countries, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia, allowing corner stores to grow and prosper, offering them the fastest delivery, the widest selection and the most competitive prices available.
