I am a Group Leader at Vesta Software Group, a division of Jonas Software and part of Constellation Software Inc., where I lead and oversee the acquisition, management, and growth of software companies in various vertical markets. With over 20 years of experience in strategy and business development, I am a seasoned economist and MBA graduate who leverages the power of innovation and technology as catalysts for positive change and development.As the former lead adviser on innovation for the Minister of Industry, Energy, and Mining in Uruguay, I coordinated the Uruguay Innovation Hub program, which focused on designing and implementing the national strategy for innovation in green tech, biotechnology, and deep tech, managing a budget of USD 30 MM. Prior to that, I worked for the venture arm of the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB Lab), where I led the design and development of the Corporate Venturing & Open Innovation division, creating regional public-private programs to scale socio-environmental impact in Latin America and the Caribbean. I also have extensive corporate experience in accelerating businesses and deploying new technologies in different sectors, such as banking, energy, food, and digital transformation consulting.
