Collaborating with creative teams on global advertising campaigns to produce a range of photography, illustration, retouching, research and licensing projects for use across multiple media platforms. Reporting to the Director of Art Production and partnering cross functionally with internal departments (Creative, Account Management, Business Affairs, Finance and Music) and external vendors to ensure creative excellence and flawless execution of brand concepts for Apple.

Promoted to execute company-wide strategic growth initiatives in ways that were sensitive to the pressures of internal teams. I partnered with the largest agency stakeholders, Global Heads of vertical divisions, CFO, and IT Director to lead creation and preliminary execution of cultural, operations and technology roadmap following formation of Great Bowery. Reported to UK based CEO. It was a year of rapid evolution and company firsts: cross functional collaboration, stakeholder management, board and investor exposure, change management, post M&A integration, Salesforce superusers, and unified entity’s first all-hands town hall and leadership retreat.

Invited to join industry leader Bernstein & Andriulli in 2003, I brought my 360˚ view of the business from the artist, agency and agent perspectives to develop sales and marketing business strategies supporting agency and artist growth initiatives. A whole lot of Super Agent hustling and fun for 16 years at the intersection of creativity and commerce.Owned P&L for photography business unit, directed project bids including bespoke treatments, and established a culture that relied on Salesforce to guide the sales process and consistently deliver revenue growth. Recruited and coached agent sales team that represented 25 photographers to a client roster of the world’s leading brands and advertising agencies. Reporting to the CEO, I morphed into a Swiss Army knife, a funnel, and a sponge.

My entrepreneurial spirit kicked in and I launched an independent photographer representation agency that developed and retained profitable relationships with artists, clients, brands and agencies. Built client connections that included Arnold Worldwide, Volkswagen, Fidelity Investments, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, and more.

Recruited by an advertising client, I was now on the other side of the creative fence sourcing and hiring artists to execute agency creative briefs. I produced award-winning “Drivers Wanted” campaigns for Volkswagen, a tagline and series of ads that ran for a decade. Managed coordination between creative team, account managers, artists, and production vendors for end-to-end process (budgets, artist selection, negotiations, scheduling, contracts, IP protection, locations, shoots, post-production, invoicing).

Getting back to my creative roots, my first career pivot was working for a commercial lifestyle photographer. From servicing advertising agencies and marketing clients every day, I learned about the business of the creative world and I was hooked - setting the stage for the rest of my career.

At a young age, my passion for sales and management was unlocked in the retail environment where I received invaluable training on the foundational skills of driving sales volume, effective communication, time management, delegation, constructive feedback, recruiting, and retention. I attracted top talent to my division with a reputation for being an inspiring coach committed to the success of her team and came away with stories and lessons I still tell to this day.
