Oversee the clinical operations for Medical Specialties and Psychiatry across Michigan Medicine, including Dermatology, Endocrinology, Allergy and Psychiatry services. This encompasses approximately 195,000 visits annually with operating revenue of $48,000,000.Engaged in clinic operations, finance, and strategy including: practice optimization to increase new patient access; service line planning; and growth to additional offsite locations, etc.

I provided management and oversight for the Michigan Medicine Medical Group Pharmacy Innovations and Partnership division, which is an innovative initiative to build clinical pharmacy services within our organization as well as externally. I focused on building key partnerships with internal departments and external organizations to grow the clinical pharmacy practices within Michigan Medicine and across the state of Michigan. My primary responsibilities included leadership, financial management, human resource management, and legal and contractual negotiations.

Managed the coordinating centers for multiple Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan-funded Collaborative Process Initiatives and/or Collaborative Quality Initiatives throughout my time in this role. These initiatives focused on integrating clinical pharmacy practice into physician organizations, reducing readmissions by improving transitions of care from hospital to home and reducing hospital related complications, such as deep vein thrombosis and catheter associated infections. My role included developing the communication and data infrastructures. developing recruitment materials, conducting surveys, and on-boarding participating organizations to the program. I also was responsible for compiling reports, preparing , monitoring and reconciling budgets, and initiating contracts and legal agreements.

I was the program manager for an $8 million grant focused on the development of pediatric quality measures, funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), including budgeting, human resources, technology and equipment. I also facilitated modified RAND consensus panels for pediatric quality measures and identified and monitored resource needs for assigned project topic areas and developed work plans and timelines for each topic assignment

I managed the operations of 3 outpatient dialysis clinics (including home dialysis programs) and 2 acute dialysis clinics, with 150 staff and totaling over 110,000 treatments annually. My role was responsible for establishing new service offerings and leading quality improvement activities to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction. In addition, I monitored facility, physician and staff compliance with CMS End Stage Renal Disease Conditions for Coverage.
