Initially, I supported all our other offices in Australia, managing the Brisbane office, providing project, financial & admin support to Senior Management & Engineers which included project reporting, purchasing & invoicing, marketing and event co-ordination, & payroll support. Two years later Aeronautical Engineers Australia began trading as GVH Aerospace. At GVH Aerospace I provide vital assistance to the CEO, Program Director, Operations Director, Head of Design, Project Managers & Engineers. My responsibilities are inextricably tied to the success of the projects we are working on. Driving everything forward from planning to implementation, my actions directly influence the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the project. I also contribute to issue resolution and escalation, research and analysis activities and planning and monitoring activities.As the Program Director’s right-hand person, I play an important role in project planning as well as risk and issue management. I also log, manage and analyse information on the progress of all our projects as well as prepare reports for all management meetings. I also deal in all the financial aspects of projects from beginning to end that can include setting budgets, recognising revenue, Quotes, Purchase Orders, Invoices & Debt Control.
