Glacier FarmMedia operates the two largest outdoor agricultural trade shows in Canada - Canada's Outdoor Farm Show in September and Ag in Motion in July. Each year, over 30,000 progressive farmers attend Ag in Motion in Langham, SK and Canada's Outdoor Farm Show in Woodstock, ON to see the latest innovations in agriculture. My current role with these outdoor events is Sponsorship & Partnership Lead. Our sponsorship programs are an integral part of each event. Along with my team, we manage over 100 custom sponsorships between the two shows and work with our partners to enhance their sponsorship potential, build mutually-beneficial partnerships and ensure all commitments are fulfilled. I also seek to attract new sponsors and will work with our exhibitors to find sponsorship opportunities to help meet their sales and marketing goals. In addition, I lead the sales for Discovery Farm in both Langham and Woodstock. Discovery Farm is a hub for demonstration research and knowledge transfer initiatives with a vision of discovering practical solutions for Canadian farmers. Our demonstration research site, 300+ acres in Langham and 100+ acres in Woodstock, attracts partners from industry, academia and government to conduct small- and large-plot research on the farm with the opportunity to test, prove and demonstrate their technologies.In my previous role with Canada's Outdoor Farm Show/Ag in Motion, I managed the communications activities of both shows in my role as Communications Co-ordinator, with the goal of expanding awareness and raising the profile of our events. In addition, I assisted in co-ordinating special programming during the Show such as international visitors, school tour groups and Show Ambassadors.

Account manager and writer for marketing communications firm, serving clients primarily in the agricultural sector. In this multi-faceted role, which demanded leadership and competence, I was well-respected by clients and agency management. I provided a high level of client servicing, strategic communications planning, presentations and writing. In addition, I was the media co-ordinator for Canada's Outdoor Farm Show (the owner of the agency also owned the show). In this role, I ensured agricultural media were kept informed of show activities through writing, and media management.
