I have worked at the Sheffield College (and its previous incarnations) for around 30 years. For the last 15 years, I've worked in the online department as senior administrator and laterly as Acting Online College Manager.I was a key member of the team which wrote and delivered the first fully-taught online GCSE English in 2000. Since then, I've been involved in the authoring, technology and administration of a variety of online courses including A2/AS English, GCSE Maths, Functional Skills Literarcy and Numeracy, Foundation Degree in eCommunications, Foundation Degree in eBusiness and Management, and units of ILM Leadership and Management qualifications from levels 2 to 5.I co-authored Human Trafficking Awareness - an online course which looks at the crime of human trafficking and how the UK and other countries are responding. From October 2014 to September 2015, I am Sheffield College's project leader in an EU-funded project called TRUTH which aims to raise awareness of human trafficking in Europe.
