My professional experience is first and foremost in being a mom of 5 and secondly, in being the creator of Rufus, the Bear with Diabetes. My goal with Rufus is for every child and family living in this world to receive a Rufus bear and the Bag of Hope upon intial diagnosis of either Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes. My experience is also in representing Rufus and the JDRF with large corporations to sign on with the mission statement/goal of Rufus in reaching out via education of diabetes and how they can market their own product through Rufus, the Bear with Diabetes.Specialties: Bringing large corporations onboard in underwriting Rufus, the Bear with Diabetes along with the JDRF, knowledge in taking care of someone with diabetes, speaking engagements. Listening and then creating and/or supporting from what I have heard.

I created Rufus, the Bear with Diabetes after my son, Brian, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Rufus is meant to be a message of care, education, hope, and "you are not alone". With Love to all the children and families living with diabetes :)
