Green Lents cultivates a thriving, resilient, and environmentally just community through engagement, education, and collective action in Lents and outer SE Portland, Oregon. Core programs include operating a beloved community tool library, care and stewardship of the Malden Court Orchard, developing pollinator habitats, and offering workshops that serve the community.I identified strategic targets and plans to promote good governance, organizational stability, and program health while advising and supporting the highly dedicated working Board.

Path Home empowers families with children to get back into housing and stay there through programs that move from crisis to stability: outreach, Family Village Shelter, rapid re-housing, homeless prevention, and basic income guarantee.I supported organizational leadership and guided five program managers who oversaw the shelter, housing, and outreach teams. My work included evaluating and reinvigorating practices, coaching to further professional competencies and supervisory skills, fostering collaborative engagement with other departments, and participating in hiring panels. I led an ad hoc team developing plans and processes for the shelter's kitchen program and edited the shelter operations manual to align with Path Home's values and employee guidelines.

OregonASK supports, expands, and educates on quality expanded learning opportunities for children, youth, and families across Oregon. In my consultative role, I've developed impact stories elevating the work of community-based organizations offering grant-funded summer learning and enrichment programs, conducted stakeholder interviews, and drafted recommendations for future state grant requirements. I've also researched and written public policy position papers highlighting the value and benefits of community-based summer learning programs, drafted op-ed pieces, consulted on communication strategies, and am currently working on organizational governance and structure.

Reach Out and Read is an evidence-based national nonprofit that integrates reading aloud into pediatric care to support families and strengthen essential foundational relationships. As the interim Executive Director in Oregon, I provided leadership, organizational assessment, strategic planning, partnership building, advocacy, development, and coaching for staff during a year-long regionalization process to create Reach Out and Read Northwest.

Girl Scouts builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington annually serves 23,000 girl and adult members in 38 counties. I led a multi-site, 11-person team that delivered membership growth and retention by focusing on data-driven decision making and innovative marketing strategies. The Girl Scout Law and Promise guided our work and commitment to helping all girls discover their strengths and explore their passions.

Oregon Public Broadcasting serves Oregon and SW Washington by giving voice to the community, connecting communities and illuminating a wider world. As the Community Relations Manager I built affinity among OPB's core constituents by designing strategic marketing initiatives and partnerships with diverse organizations (Literary Arts, Multnomah County Library, SOLV, Reel Music Film Festival); and managing relationships and events with national public broadcasting entities (Ken Burns, Antiques Roadshow, Lynn Rossetto Kasper, Jim Lehrer).

The Nonprofit Association of Oregon (formerly TACS) strengthens the collective voice, leadership, and capacity of nonprofits to enrich the lives of all Oregonians. I served as an integral member of TACS’ leadership team during its complex transition from a provider of local management services to a robust statewide membership association. Key accomplishments included formulating and delivering multifaceted recruitment and retention campaigns, initiating public policy advocacy and education efforts, developing communications plans, and enhancing member benefits.

Oregon Humanities connects Oregonians to ideas that change lives and transform communities. I strengthened the delivery, relevance, and reach of a diverse slate of public humanities programs; developed a statewide network of invested community partners; and managed three federally-funded grant programs. I was the executive producer of "On Principle," a nine-part radio program on American democracy that aired on Oregon Public Broadcasting and Jefferson Public Radio, and led the program’s multi-site community reading and discussion series.
