• Managing various Go-to-Market projects and product projects for the whole localization process;• Working with requestors, vendors, GQMs and QA teams to plan the scope, schedule， quality level and deliverables of the materials needing to be localized;• Managing in-process source and/or scope update as well as its impact to the quality and delivery schedule;• Communicating and coordinating with localization partners to ensure timely and quality delivery;• Holding PPR with localization vendors to summarize achievements and things to be improved;• Help vendors to improve delivery quality by providing training, doing spot checking/QA, PPR, etc.

• Helping recruit and setup USD IDD Beijing team;• Preparing quick start kit for new team members;• Working with various teams (PM, development, QA, publishing) to plan the schedule, scope, and standard of the documentation development;• Designing the documentation by collecting information from product teams and developers;• Leading the review cycle including peer-review, technical review, PM review, marketing review, and final approval;• Preparing documents for localization by GPO;• Communicating and coordinating with PMs from GPO, technical support, IDD writers and project lead to have L10N bugs resolved efficiently and quickly;• Collecting user feedback and improving development process if necessary;• Training new team members and sharing experience with them;• Helping develop and improve documentation development process specifications;• Being engaged in Go-to-Market initiative to focus on customer requirements.

• Controlling and Managing Chinese localization/translation quality for different EMC product lines for both hardware and software, such as Vmax, VNX, VNXe, DataDomain,DPA, Isilon, RSA, Networker, Avamar, RecoverPoint, LifeLine, etc.• Working with marketing colleagues to define the L10N scope, priorities and specifications, then reflected them in the localization style guide and in the localized deliverables, which helped our budget spent more validly and more efficiently and did more things with limited budget;• Making QA/spot check to vendor deliverables for both Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese; Regularly assessing existing vendors and potential vendors;• Maintaining and updating glossaries;• As vendor contact lead and liaison between PM and vendors on quality, proactively communicating and interacting with PMs and vendors to ensure vendors to provide qualified deliveries in a timely manner;• Writing quality management guide to help vendors improve their quality.

 Mainly responsible for the quality control of projects from various clients, such as EMC, Microsoft, WatchGuard, etc. Daily job includes: Communicating with sub-vendors on review schedule, quality discussion;  Making spot-check and final QA to sub-vendors' translations; Answering queries from vendors and internal editors;  Writing internal process guide, tool usage guide; Communicating with and training vendors based on projects.

Responsible for the communication with client and its production vendors, issuing client's needs and requirements and observing the execution of the requirements, providing reasonable and sound suggestions to client's problem.

 Working as QA manager. Responsible for the quality assurance management and ISO system maintenance(2003. 8 - 2005. 4) Working as quality specialist and QA at Transco, which included the language quality assurance of all lines of Dell products and language inspection of other products both Simplified and Traditional Chinese; Also responsible for the inspection of DTP and Html compiled files (2000.10 - 2003. 8). Working as translator/editor at Transco(1999. 7 - 2000. 9)

Working as the only translator and interpreter at Nankou Locomotives & Machinery Works of the Railway Ministry, I translated many bidding documents and have been to Switzerland, France, UK and the USA as the team interpreter for machinery devices' receipt and operation training.
