I present the Body-Mind aspect of Preparing for Surgery, along with Jan Elpers in this new class "Successful Surgery". It is held in the Education Building behind Dominican Hospital once a month, the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30-7:00 PM. This class is Free to the public.

I help clients prepare for surgery and recovery. I help them to imagine and reinforce positive outcome and feelings. Together we name the fears and worries of medical procedures, replacing them with inspired and positive outcomes. I have recently helped a couple with fertility issues have a successful culmination of years of "trying". I supported another client up to and through surgery on her pituitary gland. I recently worked with another client as she prepared for and healed from hip replacement surgery. This week I helped a client overcome her fear of tight places as she prepared for another MRI, and lined up radiation for bone cancer. There is profound healing that occurs when we face our concerns and turn them into positive outcomes.

For the past 4 years I have led a Guided Imagery Group at WomenCARE on the central CA coast. Cancer survivorship has many facets, and Guided Imagery has proven itself beneficial in longevity, providing hope and improving one's outlook.

I am thrilled to create healing archetypal scenes with Guided Imagery for Cancer Survivorship. We all have natural Power and Imagination, and putting our gifts to use for self empowerment during a time of crisis turns the tables in our favor. I have personal experience with cancer and am deeply satisfied with the positive results of Guided Imagery for all cancer survivors.
